| Al is a graduate of the University of North Carolina A&T. He started as a guard for all four years. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors, where he starred along side such luminaries as Wilt Chamberlain, Nate Thurmond, and Rick Barry. Al went on to become the Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors and led them to the franchises only NBA Championship (1974-75). A great student of the game and a cognizant instructor, he brings a wealth of experience that serves as the backbone for the Attles School. | Alvin is a graduate of St. Marys High School in Berkeley and the University of San Francisco. He was a two-year starting point guard for each school. As a player he was known as the consummate Floor General who possessed tenacious defensive skills, passing excellence, and the ability to penetrate. After college he played professionally in the Philippines (PBA). Alvin is very patient and enthusiastic with kids. He has a great work ethic and has solid teaching skills. | Carl is one of the pre-eminent teachers of individual fundamental skills in the world of AAU Basketball. As Director of the prestigious Slam N Jam AAU Program he gets to impact the lives of many of the best high school players in Northern California. After graduating in 1984 from San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Communications, he decided to become a true student of the game to help others become more sound in the area of basketball skill development. | Jon is a 14 year college coaching veteran who is acknowledged as one of the leading teachers of post play. Jon played at Cal as a starting forward, and then played overseas in France and Australia. Upon his return home, he began his coaching career at Cal, then moved to UC Davis, Pepperdine, UC Santa Barbara, and then back to his alma mater. Jons work ethic and enthusiasm is unmatched and a perfect fit with the Attles School philosophy. |
